Duties
The Senior Manager leads and manages the Memorial’s multi-disciplinary Events and Ceremonies team within the Commemorations and Visitor Engagement Section. The team coordinates and delivers dignified ceremonies including the Dawn Service and National Ceremony on ANZAC Day and the National Ceremony on Remembrance Day, as well as a significant program of launches and other events.
The team also has responsibility for coordinating the comprehensive calendar of visits by dignitaries to the Memorial. This position manages resourcing, planning and delivery of these programs as well as budget approval to its financial delegation. There is a requirement for working outdoors and undertaking some manual handling.
