Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing and Brand to provide senior leadership and to develop and execute Museums Victoria’s audience acquisition, visitation and brand strategies that enhance the contribution and connection to Museums Victoria’s mission, vision, values and strategic objectives. ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide senior leadership and to develop and execute Museums Victoria’s audience acquisition, visitation and brand strategies that enhance the contribution and connection to Museums Victoria’s mission, vision, values and strategic objectives. This role operates within a networked organisation and the successful applicant will be expected to contribute across all of Museums Victoria’s museums and projects as required.
Notable skills and experiences:
- Develop and implement a rolling five-year strategic marketing plan for the Family of Brands to support organizational Business Plan key performance indicators, and promote Museum Victoria’s success and sustained growth.
- Develop a rolling three-year integrated audience development plan encompassing paid, earned, owned and shared channels to drive engagement, visitation and revenue across the MV network by target audience segments.
- Provide overall portfolio management of Museum Victoria’s Family of Brands, utilizing audience insights research to create effective branding and audience development opportunities while ensuring the brand remains relevant and engaging to audiences.
- Provide strategic high-level advice and feedback with regards to the management of audience acquisition marketing activities and senior management decision making.

The successful applicant will have relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, arts, or possess equivalent experience in one or more of these fields
