This role will plan, develop and implement marketing, communication, and community engagement activity and campaigns for Queensland Museum. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Media Relations, you will assist the delivery of marketing campaigns, media relations, social media activity and community engagement associated with Queensland Museum programs with a particular focus on our Future Makers STEM program for teachers and World Science Festival Queensland regional program. This role requires the successful candidate to be self-motivated, work autonomously and have the ability to think laterally while maintaining QMN Procedures and paying attention to detail and deadlines while managing multiple tasks, managing stakeholder approvals, and overseeing campaign spend budgets. You may be required to travel intrastate to Chinchilla and Gladstone up to two to four times a year.
