Duties

The Museum has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive professional to join the Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs team as a Senior Marketing Officer with a key role in developing and building the Museum’s profile and brand to engage key target audiences — nationally and internationally.

The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic marketing strategies across a diverse range of channels including traditional, digital and social media and emerging technologies.

The successful candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision whilst taking the lead on key projects with a positive and proactive approach. Industry knowledge and an ability to plan and write strategically and creatively will ensure success in this role. This deadline-driven high-output role requires strong organisational skills that include full management of project timelines and campaign budgets. Working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift, an ability to be flexible and adapt to change is paramount.
