What will you do? 
As part a 3 year sustainability funding grant, provide professional advice and assist in the management of projects and building works that would help the ANMM to reduce energy consumption relating to the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Building Management and Control (BMCS).

Provide direction and subject matter expertise in the implementation and delivery of HVAC/BMCS projects/upgrades within the complex environment and layout of the museum’s exhibition building.
Ensure all Design, Design and Construct contracts offer the best possible value-for-money outcome, while ensuring services are provided according to the Project’s Objectives and specific KPIs.

Located within the Facilities, Support Services and Sustainability Department working under the direction of the Manager of FASSS, the position will operate as part of a professional FM Team that strives to find new solutions for climate control issues, enhance plant equipment’s performance while generating energy savings across the museum. Ensure a safe and secure place for the public to view and engage with the museum and its collection, provide a safe working environment for staff, volunteers and contractors.

Eligibility

This position is open to all eligible members of the community. To be an eligible member of the community you must be an Australian citizen. Notes

Selection for this position will be made on the basis of relative merit which will be assessed against each item of the selection criteria. Applications that do not address the selection criteria will not be considered for short listing by the Selection Committee. As part of the selection process the selection committee may invite candidates to undertake psychometric test, you should advise the selection committee if you have any special needs. Psychometric tests may be used as the initial short-listing test or later in the selection process. Some tests are very short while others may take one or more hours.
