Museums Victoria, Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a Social Media Support Officer.

We are looking for an energetic, creative, social-media guru to support the marketing and brand team. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the Social Media Marketing Manager in creating and sharing strategically strong content across social media platforms and developing innovative ways to connect and engage with audiences, online. In a fast-paced environment, this role requires a candidate who can hit the ground running and who has a thirst for learning, collaboration and all things social media.

Reporting to the Social Media Manager this is an exceptional opportunity for a committed individual to apply their skills and gain experience across a wide range of exhibitions, events, experiences and social and scientific communications.

Working across our three museums this role will best suit somebody who is motivated to learn and establish their career in marketing.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, public relations or possess equivalent experience in one or more of these fields will be highly regarded.
