Sovereign Hill wins Victorian Museum Award, July 2016

Sovereign Hill has received the prestigious Victorian Museum Award from Museums Australia Victoria for Large Museums for its sustainability initiatives!

In 2015, Sovereign Hill became the first museum in Australia to sign the Green Museums Accord. The museum has also been recognised for implementing significant infrastructure procedures including recycling, energy saving, pest and waste management, storm water, and solar capture, as well as its education programs at Narmbool.
