We are looking for an experienced project officer to assist with the procurement, contract coordination and exhibition project management associated with the Content Works for the New Museum.

Job Description

The Special Projects Officer is responsible for providing support to specific projects related to the end-to-end process of exhibition development and delivery. This position works in collaboration with Creative Directors, Exhibition Team Leaders and others, including external partners to the New Museum Project. The Special Projects Officer ensures the project procurement of objects, interactives, multimedia, and other audio and visual material adheres to WA Government Procurement policies and that contract documentation is managed in accordance with the project timeframes and budget.

Location

This position is located across Welshpool and Perth city. The central Perth, based at Gordon Stephenson House, One40 William Street and. This building is located above the underground rail link and within easy walking distance of the bustling café, tourist and shopping districts.  The Welshpool site is Kew Street accessible by train and bus.

Conditions

This is a full-time fixed term vacancy for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 12months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanency.
