An opportunity as a Sponsorship and Partnerships Administration Assistant has become available at Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA). The role assists the Gallery to maintain and renew partnerships with sponsors, the corporate sector, grantors, government and others, including coordination of sponsor benefits tracking, renewal of existing partner’s contracts, research and reporting. The position is available for commencement late May 2022.

Key duties include:

  1. Collaborate across the Gallery to record and coordinate tracking of contra goods and services from sponsored stock of assets, use of contra wine and other in-kind support.
  2. Maintain detailed budget management practices and reporting on sponsorship financial matters including all income (both cash and in kind) and proactively work with finance team to issue invoices and payments for Business Development and Partnerships section.
  3. Assist Business Development and Partnerships section with research of potential new partners, development of sponsorship proposals to targeted organisation and building contractual agreements for new and existing partners.

You work to agreed priorities, outcomes, time constraints and assigned resources.

Supports productive working relationships – you build and sustain positive relationships with team members and other Gallery staff as well as external stakeholders and industry contacts. You work cooperatively as an effective team member, keeping relevant parties informed of potential issues. You provide courteous, prompt and professional service to sponsors and funding agencies.

The Public Health and Social Measures linked to vaccination status Direction requires that from 17 December 2021, everyone (aged 16 years and over) entering Queensland Government-owned libraries, galleries and museums, including staff, must be vaccinated against COVID-19. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status to commence employment with Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art.
