ABOUT THE POSITION:
The role of Strategic Business Partner, People & Culture is accountable for providing strategic generalist services and advice in all areas of People & Culture, including but not limited to organisational development, industrial & employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, general employee services and on-boarding and exits.
Notable skills and experiences:
- Create, develop and deliver a strategic framework for staff learning and development and lead the development and delivery of an annual in-house corporate training and development program.
- Design and manage significant HR and organisation capability improvement projects, as identified by the Executive Management Team and/or the General Manager, People & Culture.
- Deliver face to face staff learning and development programs consistent with Museums Victoria’s strategic framework for staff learning and development.
- Identify evolving gaps and opportunities for innovative staff development and organisation capability initiatives and then develop and implement strategies and solutions to continuously improve the quality of leadership and management throughout Museums Victoria.
- Provide guidance, consultation and facilitation for organisational change and employee development for individuals, departments and teams across Museums Victoria.
- Oversee recruitment and workforce planning processes and procedures and provide the information and advice required by MV to make sound and strategic decisions based on accurate workforce metrics and workforce planning processes.
- In partnership with the Executive leadership team and senior management, provide strategic advice, coaching, and mentoring on matters affecting all Museums Victoria staff to support the development of an engaging and high performing work culture.
