The Sovereign Hill Museums Association is a not-for profit community-based organisation that includes: Sovereign Hill Outdoor Museum, Sovereign Hill Hotel, AURA and Narmbool, the Australian Centre for Rare Trades and Arts and the Australian Centre for Gold Rush Collections. It cares for a nationally and internationally significant collection of over 150,000 objects and protects the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the Victorian gold rush.
We are an Australian tourism icon that attracts some 500,000 visitors annually. The Outdoor Museum is internationally renowned as a living museum featuring rare trades, and programs and experiences that interpret a pivotal point in Australia’s history. In all, some 350 staff work to bring our gold-rush story to life. They are supported by over 250 volunteers.
We are seeking a highly motivated and well organised individual to become a part of the Supply Chain Team. Working across multiple teams, the successful candidate will enjoy the variety that this role offers, and the ability to contribute to change and process improvements. This is a part time role.
Tasks will include:
- Assisting with the construction of reports to analyse data and identify opportunities within the Supply Chain Management.
- Assisting with supply Chain General Administration.
- Providing support to Supply Chain Business Projects.
- Perform general merchandising.
To be successful in the role, applicants should have:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to source data and develop reports.
- Demonstrated ability to make recommendations based on factual data and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capability and willingness to work as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
