Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a Team Leader in Retail to coordinate the daily operations of the retail stores.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The position of Team Leader, Museums Victoria Retail Services is accountable for maximising revenue by providing supervision on the floor in relation to staff, merchandising and stock control and as required, roster and train staff across multiple Museums Victoria retail sites.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of staff, including training and rostering a team.
  2. Demonstrated retail industry experience including the ability to deliver a high standard of customer service within a retail environment.
  3. Demonstrated ability to present stock in an attractive manner to maximise sales.
  4. Demonstrated clear and effective interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with customers and staff in a friendly and efficient manner.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge of computerised point of sale and inventory systems.

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a full-time, ongoing position. The salary on offer is $60,114 per annum; paid pro-rata plus 9.5% superannuation.
