The Visitor Services & Venues team is responsible for delivering excellence in customer service in a broad range of front-of-house operations across MAAS sites including venue management, ticketing & booking, gallery invigilation, visitor and event safety, customer service for public programs as well as supporting the operational delivery of public and private events.

As the Ticketing & Bookings Officer you are primarily responsible for the management, coordination, configuration and support of ticketing and admissions systems, calendaring tools and bookings that support the delivery of a world class experience for visitors attending events, programs and exhibitions at MAAS. The role also works to continually enhance the visitor experience as well as Visitor Services’ systems and processes.

This will involve you working in close collaboration with internal teams to distribute and ensure that marketing, online and other event data and material is effectively communicated to existing and potential visitors using a range of platforms. You will collaborate and coordinate with other key groups to ensure that effective programs are facilitated and that public access outcomes are achieved and also contribute to the proposal, development, implementation, and annual review of the Program Team Business Plan consistent with the Museum’s Strategic Plan.
