About Hobart Current, November 2023
Hobart Current is an innovative long-term partnership between the City of Hobart and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG), nurturing and showcasing contemporary artists working across performance, music, film, design, visual art and literature.
Hobart Current: Epoch is the second iteration of Hobart Current, after Liberty in 2021.
The exhibition is hosted is across TMAG as well as outdoor sites across the Hobart CBD, from 17 November 2023 to 11 February 2024.

Ten artists have been commissioned to create new works in various art forms.
