VISITOR EXPERIENCE MANAGER

Barangaroo is the most important reinvention of Sydney’s historic centre for decades. The precinct is a globally significant, 22-hectare, $6+ billion waterfront renewal project. The Barangaroo Delivery Authority has the once in a generation opportunity to help shape the future of the Sydney waterfront.

The Activation and Precinct Management (APM) team is committed to ensuring that Barangaroo is a vibrant precinct with an international reputation. Through the delivery of a contemporary, multi-arts and events program, our aim is to cement Barangaroo as one of Australia’s leading cultural destinations.

APM commissions and presents contemporary work in partnership with artists and arts organisations, and delivers major events and activities that provide a high quality immersive experience for our visitors. With a significant part of the precinct now operational and more to come over the next six years we are announcing the establishment of new roles.

The Visitor Experience Manager manages the development and delivery of Barangaroo’s visitor experience, interpretation, cultural tours, education programs and event marketing with the aim to generating public enjoyment and grow local, national and international reputation and visitation of Barangaroo.

To be successful in this role you will have experience in the management of customer service, cultural engagement, visitor journey and visitation services with a demonstrated customer-centric approach.
