The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences sits at the intersection of the arts, design, science and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. The Powerhouse is undertaking a landmark program of renewal.
The Visitor Host delivers the day-to-day public facing operations at the Museums Discovery Centre (MDC), including meeting and greeting visitors, processing retail sales, and ensuring the safety of the collection. Assisting the Visitor Experience Coordinator to support the delivery of education programs, the Visitor Host also collaborates with internal teams such as ticketing services, volunteers, programs, communication, retail, and events to ensure all visitors to the MDC are met with quality service.
