Visitor Research Forum And Masterclasses

2026 Visitor Research Forum And Masterclasses, 2026

Calling all GLAM researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders!

Here we go again for 2026 – our popular and FREE Visitor Research Forum (VRF) managed by Professor Naomi Dale, Victoria University, Melbourne.

The forum brings together industry and academic thought leaders working and researching in the area of Visitor Research across Australasia and the World.

This year’s forum will be held on Friday October 30 at the beautiful State Library of Victoria, Melbourne.

Bookings will open shortly, meantime we are also seeking presentations from practitioners, academics, consultants, and any anyone else with something interesting to talk about relating to visitor studies across the range of GLAM, heritage sites, visitor attractions and tourism. If you are interested in giving a presentation on completed or current case studies and research, please send your 100-150 word abstract by 28 August to Dr Naomi Dale ([email protected]).

And, we will be running two fantastic FREE half-day Masterclasses on Thursday 29 October.

Visitor Studies Masterclass (presented by yours truly!)

This hands-on Masterclass will cover all aspects of visitor studies / audience research from exhibition evaluation to program evaluation and market research, as well as evaluating digital products and using AI in research and evaluation.

The class will provide tips and techniques, along with a set of online resources, guidelines and readings will also be provided as part of the Masterclass.
