About the role

The Visitor Services Manager role is responsible for creating a coordinated and unified team of front of house service staff that contribute and drive continual enhancement of the museum-wide commitment to a visitor-centred experience. The position also focuses on the growth of sales across all channels, including retail, upselling, and increasing the utilisation of the Museum’s products and services.

About you

The Visitor Services Manager is required to have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast paced environment, is service orientated and enjoys building a supporting visitor experience teams.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Manage the daily Visitor Services, Retail and Volunteer front of house operations of the site through effective leadership, resource management, planning and evaluation.
  • Develop a sales culture and growing commercial opportunities and revenue, across all front facing teams.
  • Coach and mentor to support high customer service standards.
