You will provide excellent customer service that ensures visitors have a safe, enjoyable and informative experience. As a member of the Visitor Services Team you will be involved in assisting and delivering Front-of-House operations

Key responsibilities

  • Provide quality front of house services to enhance the visitor experience, this includes but is not limited to: making visitors welcome, helping them with inquiries and by facilitating engagement with objects, displays, programs and museum staff.
  • Undertake commercial sales tasks including sale of admission tickets and membership.
    Provide basic supervision, cleaning and maintenance to the work space, and report on safety and security as required.
  • Present visitor programs from prepared scripts, including but not limited to: guided tours, pop-up activities, science shows and group greetings.
  • Support  functions, events, activities and presentations as required, including set up/pack down, demonstrating a manual handling capacity commensurate with the duties of the position.
  • Contribute to the safety culture of QMN by reporting all incidents and hazards and ensuring work is undertaken in the safest way possible, following all QMN WHS policies/procedures and guidelines relevant to the job.
