Position Description

The Australian War Memorial combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive. Under general direction, the Volunteers Officers is responsible for the ongoing administration and weekly rostering of the volunteers who support the Memorial’s Commemoration and Visitor Engagement (C&VE) Section. These volunteers include Voluntary Guides, School Wreath Laying Ceremony Veterans and Discovery Zone volunteers. In addition, the position assists with daily routine administrative and organisational tasks to support the Visitor Services Office. More specifically, the Volunteers Officer is responsible for:
