VX Guides – Ticketing, Retail and Front of House

After being closed for a visionary $40m redevelopment that has transformed the institution, the museum is reopening in February 2021. We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of the Visitor Experience team, where you will be expected to welcome our visitors and provide them with an unforgettable experience.

We are looking for talented people who are practiced at making visitors/customers feel welcome and valued and who are:

We have a variety of Visitor Experience Guide roles available on a casual basis, specialising in Front of House, Retail or Ticketing.

Our Visitor Experience Guides will engage with all of our visitors to ensure they have everything they need to have the best possible visit, and will offer guidance and insight into our new “Story of the Moving Image” exhibition as well as all of ACMI’s other programs and events. All the successful applicants will be joining an organisation where great value is placed on working collegiately and where there is a strong motivation to deliver a memorable experience for our visitors. The Visitor Experience team works on a rotating fortnightly roster. We are looking for flexible team members who are available to work weekdays, weekends and/or evenings. Please indicate your availability in our online application form – preference will be given to those with the greatest availability.
