Sydney Living Museums (SLM) cares for a group of 12 of the most important historic houses, gardens and museums in NSW on behalf of the people of NSW.

What you’ll do with us
This role provides in depth knowledge and practical technical skills to ensure the successful delivery of advanced web and new media strategies in support of Sydney Living Museums’ agency, sites, programs, exhibitions and events.
What the essential requirements of the role are:

High-level web development skills in back end languages such as PHP, Java, Perl etc and front end development including HTML,CSS, JavaScript etc.

Working with open source, server side platforms such as WordPress, drupal etc. and experience in integrating with other related systems such as collection management systems, commerce, mobile apps etc.

Knowledge and implementation of user experience principles, covering graphic design, information architecture, interaction patterns and usability with a working knowledge of W3C web and accessibility standards.

Experience in configuring and maintaining Linux based web servers hosting multiple web sites.

Current NSW driver’s licence.
