ABOUT THE POSITION:

The position is accountable for the provision of advice, creativity and skill to ensure that exhibition structures are delivered to a premium quality, on time and on budget, and to the highest standards of visitor and staff safety.

Notable skills and experiences:

  1. Knowledge, experience and demonstrated competence in the crafting of highly creative structures for museum exhibitions that are safe, functional and visually appealing
  2. Demonstrable ability to interpret and effectively implement design drawings, cutting lists and plans
  3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
  4. Experience in the use of a variety of woodworking tools and processes including machining of components, assembly, finishing and site installation
  5. An understanding of safe work practices within a workshop and construction site.
