- Sarah Jenkins et al, ‘The Popularity of Museum Galleries – Evaluation for Natural Sciences Collections Association‘, Arts Council England, October 2013. Results of survey undertaken across the UK during the 2013 summer to uncover the popularity of various galleries in natural science and other mixed discipline museums. The fact that visitors identified natural sciences, art and live animal galleries as their favourite types of exhibit and described art, natural sciences and local history as their least favourite suggests that audiences are fairly heterogeneous in their tastes. The report also includes a useful breakdown of audience profiles.
