The Australian Museum (AM) operates within the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, it was founded in 1827 and is the first museum in Australia. The AM provides access, engagement and scientific research to increase our understanding of natural history and culture, particularly of the Australasian region. The AM holds more than 18 million objects of biological, geological and cultural collections and develops programs, exhibitions and school and community education initiatives onsite, online and offsite. About the role
The Senior Executive Assistant provides a range of executive, secretarial and administrative support services across a range of complex issues to support the Director & CEO in achieving organisational objectives.
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate;
- Adequate knowledge and experience in order to deliver the Key Accountabilities and perform to the Focus Capabilities outlined in the Role Description.
- Experience in liaising with Board Members and taking minutes of meetings
- Ability to work in a high-pressured environment with a demanding workload
- High-level written and oral communication and presentation skills.
